WBA Super Featherweight champion Venezuelan Jorge “El Niño de Oro” Linares will be making the first defense of his title next May 9, on New Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico, when he takes on Josafat Perez from Mexico, the announcement was made by KO Entertainment who will promote the card. Linares who captured the vacant WBA Super Featherweight title last November, when he stops  Whiber Garcia from Panama in five round, is in the last stage of training in Tokyo, Japan, where he reside, but before he went to Los Angeles, California, USA, where he made four round of sparring session against pound 4 pound king Manny Pacquiao.
