Jaider Parra of Venezuela won the vacant Fedelatin super featherweight title of World Boxing Association after beating Panama’s Joel Cerrud by decision at the Centro de Convenciones COOPEVE in Santiago, Panama. The judges saw the Venezuelan as the winner with scores of 107-105, 105-105 and 106-105.

Parra’s record is raised to 17 wins, seven by knockout, without any defeats.
