Haye: “Ruiz will be decapitated”

Things are heating up between WBA heavyweight champion David Haye and mandatory challenger John Ruiz. Haye defense his title against Ruiz this coming Saturday at the MEN Arena in Manchester. Haye has threatened to take off the head of Ruiz. He told Sky Sports News, that Ruiz left his family members at home because he knows a bad knockout loss is coming. “I wouldn’t bring my family either, if I knew I was going to get decapitated!” Haye told Sky Sports News. “He’s gonna get knocked out and maybe subconsciously he knows that. That’s why he told his family to stay at home.” “I’m bred to do this, I’m a fighter through and through. I know what it’s like to be in hard fights, I know what it’s like to dig dip and I’m expecting to have to dig deep. I’m mentally prepared for a tough, gruelling fight – but a fight he will end up unconscious in.”

Haye wants to repeat the same accomplishment as David Tua, who at the moment is the only man to knock Ruiz out in his 54 fights as a pro.

“I’m expecting a real tough night; it’s going to be exciting but I am going to knock him out,” Haye said.
