WBA cruiserweight world champion in recess Guillermo “El Felino” Jones has arrived in Moscow, Russia with his team and Don King for Friday’s showdown against WBA “regular” cruiserweight world champion Denis Lebedev. A big Panama contingent with media, fans and celebrities are expected this week in Moscow to support Jones. Promoter Don King has also invited Panamanian President Ricardo Martinelli and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Meanwhile, the World Boxing Association has announced that South African Stanley Chistodoulou will be the referee while judges will be the Italian Giuseppe Quartarone, Oliver Brien of Germany and Poland’s Leszek Jankowiak.
