All is ready for Saturday’s huge event in La Guaira, Venezuela billed as “El Desafio” (The Challenge) that features WBA bantamweight champion Anselmo Moreno of Panama against WBA interim bantamweight champion Nehomar Cermeno of Venezuela.

In a second major bout, former double world champion Jorge “Nino de Oro” Linares returns against former world champion Francisco Lorenzo from the Dominican Republic.

Also scheduled is a WBA Fedecentro super lightweight title clash between Azael Cosio (Panama) and Johan Perez (Venezuela); super middleweight Darmel Castillo (Panama) faces former world title challenger Gusmyr Perdomo (Venezuela); and female super bantamweight Ogleydis Suarez (Venezuela) meets Vanessa Medrano (Colombia), which will be the first professional women’s fight in Venezuela.
