The State Boxing Commission of Nevada have endorsed the medical examinations of the WBA lightweight champion, Miguel “Aguacerito” Acosta, setting everything in motion for his first defense of the title this coming Saturday against Brandon Rios. The fight takes place at the Palms Hotel and American network Showtime will televise. Acosta is training at the Top Rank Gym in dowtown Las Vegas.
