WBA regrets the sensible pass away of the prospect Omar HenryWBA Press.  February 1. The Young boxer Omar Henry passed away this morning at the Chicago University Hospital, victim of cancer.

Henry, 25, was considered a prospect considered a prospect after its successful passage by amateur boxing with 60 wins, 5 defeats.

He debuted in professional boxing on July 18, 2008 being active until he got sick.

His boxing style was compared to the former Puerto Rican champion Miguel Cotto, and also had the opportunity of sparring with Filipino Manny Pacquiao.

He left undefeated in 12 fights, with 10 KO’s.

Prensa AMB. 01 de Febrero.- El joven boxeador Omar Henry falleció esta mañana, víctima de un cáncer, que le quitó la vida en el Hospital Universitario de Chicago, en los Estados Unidos.

Henry, de 25 años, era considerado un prospecto después de su fructífero paso por el boxeo aficionado dónde dejó registros de 60 triunfos con 5 derrotas.

Debutó en el rentado el 18 de julio de 2008, y se mantuvo activo hasta que fue detectada su enfermedad.

Su estilo boxístico fue comparado con el del ex campeón boricua Miguel Cotto, y además tuvo la oportunidad de ser sparring del filipino Manny Pacquiao.

Dejó 12 triunfos, diez por nocaut, sin conocer la derrota.
