In a rematch, WBA bantamweight champion Anselmo Moreno (25-1-1, 8 KOs) again narrowly defeated former WBA bantamweight champion Wladimir Sidorenko (21-2-2, 7 KOs). This time it was a split decision on Saturday Halle 7, Bremen, Germany. In first half of fight, the challenger was more active, constantly pressing Moreno. After the sixth round Moreno began to connect more. In the ninth round, a mouse appeared under the right eye of Sidorenko. The late rounds were close with a small advantage Moreno. Scores were 115-112, 115-114 for Moreno, 115-113 for Sidorenko
