The Resolution addresses the status of two WBA lightweight champions and one top 10 lightweight contender.
Resolution No. 201507290912 addresses the status of three WBA lightweight champion.

Gilberto Jesus Mendoza, WBA Championship Committee Chairman, this week released “Clarification of the Lightweight Division” (Resolution No. 201507290912).

The Resolution addresses the status of three WBA lightweight champions.

The first is WBA lightweight champion in recess Richar Abril.

The second is WBA World lightweight champion Darleys Perez.

The third is WBA interim lightweight champion Derry Matthews.
