The World Boxing Association family deeply mourns the passing of promoter Cedric Kushner, and extends its words of sympathy to family and friends.

Kushner, born in South Africa, was one of the greatest boxing promoters in the late 90’s in the American TV, especially in the Heavyweights.

He was the promoter of Hasim Rahman Rahman, who was the punisher of Lennox Lewis. He worked with Shane Mosley, Joel Casamayor, Shannon Briggs among other boxing figures.

Rest in Peace.
