Gilberto Jesus Mendoza, Vice President of the World Boxing Association, is pleased to announce the WBA Board of Directors Meeting on June 11-12 in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Several matters will be addressed during the three-day board of directors meeting, including new appointments, creating a committee to study the changing boxing landscape, and new technology in how fights are reviewed and fighters are ranked.
“The WBA has written many pages in boxing history during the past several decades,” says Mendoza, “a task impossible to have achieved without your support and hard work during its many years in Europe. This is a great opportunity to reunite and share time together.”
With more than 2,000 years of history, Sofia is not only the most affordable capital in Europe. It’s the hidden gem in Europe’s crown. Guests will be staying at the five-star Kempinski Hotel Marinela.
“In light of our longtime loyal friendship, it would be both a pleasure and honor to have you among the attendees at our Gala Dinner on June 11. We look forward to seeing you there.”
