Mexican Edivaldo Ortega and Filipino Jhack Tepora will face off for the Interim World Boxing Association (WBA) World Featherweight Title on July 15th in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Ortega is ranked at number three and Tepora second in the 126-pound category of the WBA.

The native of Tijuana is presented with this opportunity after beating former champion Drian Francisco and improving his record through 28 fights to 26 wins, 1 loss, 1 draw, and 12 knockouts.

Tepora is a native of Cebu and will enter this fight with an undefeated record in 21 bouts with 16 stoppages inside the distance, including his last appearance before Lusanda Komanisi, whom he overcame in two rounds.
