The Puerto Rican and former world champion Victor Luvi Callejas joins the group of figures that support the WBA XXIX KO Drugs Boxing Festival on Saturday June 28, 2014 that will be held at the Hotel Sheraton Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Similarly, former big league Raul Mondesi will welcome all the special guests and boxers participanting in the boxing program, plus greet the staff of the AMB that will be gathered for two working days in the capital Dominican.

Callejas and Mondesi will be with the reigning featherweight 126 pounds champion, Nicholas Walters, the historic Roberto “Hands of Stone” Duran and the announcer Jimmy Lennon Jr.

Saturday’s program will have two world title fights. Dahiana Santana fighting the Colombian Francia Elena for the WBA 126 lbs featherweight title, while the male fight will be for the 135 pounds lightweight title, between Argenis “El Caballo” Lopez and Darleys Pérez. On Saturday there will also be regional titles fights.

In sum, fighters from eight countries will be participating in more than a dozen bouts.
