The two days of work of the World Boxing Association Directorate ended, held at the Hotel Sheraton in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

In the last working session was the presentation of the rated boxer statistics, by regions and in general of the WBA, and they were presented by Gustavo Padilla.

The closure of the working session was done by the President of the WBA, Gilberto Mendoza, who thanked not only the hosts meetings and XXIX KO drugs.

He congratulated Franklin Nunez, Directorate member “important part of this event who is working with to help with the growth of this country, and we will be able to do many things together” said Mendoza.

Nunez’s response was immediate, “I think that, we, Dominican Republic are the one who should be grateful to the WBA, and numbers do not lie “We have the largest number of boxers who have been WBA world champions.”

There was also a special award for the journalist Robert Newman, of Fightnews.com who “is always working, quietly and writing down everything that happens. His contribution is important to us” said Mendoza.
