Everybody is ready to step on the scale

WBA Press. November 28.  The Puerto Rican Miguel Cotto and the North American Austin Trout are ready to comply with the weigh-in ceremony that takes place on Friday in the Affinia Hotel, New York.

Weigh-in marks the prelude to the battle for the World Boxing Association super welterweight belt owned by Trout.

During the press conference, they faced each other and claimed to be committed to give the best and please the public and of course, to become the best boxer of the division.

For Cotto fighting in the Madison Square Garden is like fighting at home, because he has fought there seven times, the last was the second battle with the Mexican Antonio Margarito, always with the support of the Puerto Rican people

Cotto warned Trout, who said he was not concerned about it.

He said he was grateful to fate Cotto, and that the people attending the fight in the Madison “are good people, and know boxing, but only him and me will be in the ring” he said.

Cotto has a record of 37 wins, 3 loses while Trout is undefeated in 25 fights.

The cards are on the table, and we only have to wait for the official weigh in.
