The blinded Maccarinelli looked to land a big shot in round three while Braehmer played it safe. The ring doctor OK’d it to continue during the round. In round four the desperate Maccarinelli continued to pressure Braehmer as his face continued to swell up. The doctor OK’d the fight to continue during round five.
